Over the summer OVFC worked to train, equip and prepare the new brush unit for service this Fall. OVFC personnel worked to ensure the unit was well equipped and ready to answer calls. Since going in service, the new unit has been on multiple brush fire calls and answered numerous other call types.
This unit is one of 5 brush units procured by Orange County as part of a continuing fleet replacement project.
