An overnight accident in Co.25’s area turned fatal after a single vehicle overturned and went off the roadway trapping two occupants.

OVFC Squad 23 assisted Co.25 with extrication of both trapped occupants. 1 occupant passed as a result of injuries and 1 was transported to UVA medical center with life threatening injuries.

Virginia State Police is handling the crash investigation.
