EMS - Our department is automatically dispatched on all ALS
calls in our first due when there is no ambulance available in
quarters. We primarily use Brush 23 as a response vehicle
because of its size and it doesn't require response of our first run
pumpers. The Brush truck is a Class A BLS non-transport
licensed vehicle through the VA Department of EMS. Our
department currently has nine members certified to the EMT-B level
and three at the EMT-I level. EMT-B: Steve Boyer, Larry Heiston, Barry Jacobs, Tim Melson, Stewart Morris, Jeff Moubray,
Bert Roby, Matt Wilson, & Michael Yancey. EMT-I: Kate
Cook, Travis Pope, & Pete Read. |
