Travis has been member of the Orange Volunteer Fire Company since 2002, but has been in the fire service since 1993. He previously held the position of Lieutenant in the company between 2005-2008. Travis was previously a member of Gordonsville Volunteer Fire Company where he progressed through the ranks to Assistant Chief before moving to Orange. Travis holds the following certifications: Fire Instructor I, Fire Officer I, Hazardous Materials-Operations, Vehicle and Farm Machinery Extrication, VAVRS Vertical Rescue, EVOC, Driver Aerial & Pump Operator, and Basic Pump Operations. Travis also carries the following medical certifications: EMT-Intermediate, ACLS, and PALS.

Travis has two young daughters, Kaylie and Karrie. He is a 1994 graduate of Orange County High School. Travis has been employed by Spotsylvania Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services since 2002 as a Firefighter/Medic. On the side, Travis enjoys hunting, and fishing, as well as watching racing. Travis’ favorite driver is drag racer John Force.
