Tim joined OVFC in July of 1994 as a junior and has been an active senior firefighter since 1996. He was elected Lieutenant in 2006 and has previously held the position of Secretary. Tim is certified in Fire Instructor II, Fire Officer I, Hazardous Materials-Operations, HTR Vehicle Rescue, EVOC, LZ Coordinator, NFA ICS & STICO, and is an EMT-B.

Tim is a 1997 graduate of Orange County High School and received his associate degree in business administration from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 2004. Tim is also a 2007 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned his bachelor degree in social sciences.

His main hobby is following the athletic programs at the University of Virginia, especially football and basketball.  Tim’s other hobbies include: playing basketball, watching TV, video games, rooting for the Orioles, Nationals, Cubs, & 49ers, and contributing to the OVFC website.
