Ronnie joined the Orange Volunteer Fire Company in 1987 as a Junior Firefighter. He later moved on to the Senior company as a Firefighter. Ronnie is nicknamed Herb, after his father Herbert. He has taken the following courses: Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials-Awareness, EVOC, Basic Pump Operations, Vehicle Extrication, and LZ Coordinator.

Ronnie and is wife Amy have one child, Mackenzie, and are expecting another soon. Ronnie is a 1988 graduate of Orange County High School. He has been the Home Medical Equipment Manager for Culpeper Pharmacy (formerly Grymes Drug Store) since 1997. Some of Ronnie’s hobbies are hunting, fishing, and golf. He also roots for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Anaheim Angels.
