Ron has been a member of the Orange Volunteer Fire Company since 1975. He has been the President of the company since 1995, and has previously held the positions of Lieutenant and Treasurer. Ron has been certified in: Fire Instructor I, HTR Vehicle Rescue, EVOC, and Basic Pump and Aerial Operations.

Ron has been employed by Virginia Power since 1994, and is currently a Groundsman. He and his wife Robin have a daughter, Elise who is a huge UVA Women’s Basketball fan. In his spare time, Ron enjoys outdoor activities, helping out at his church, St. Isidore, and rooting for UVA and the Dallas Cowboys.
