Randy has been a member of the Orange Volunteer Fire Company since 1989. He has previously held the position of Secretary of the fire company and is currently a Firefighter. Randy has taken the following classes: Firefighter II, EVOC, and Landing Zone Coordinator. He is also a member of the eleven-time state champion OVFC Competition Team and was on state record runs in the Six-Man Ladder and Two-Man Airpack.

Randy and his wife Frances have two young sons, Corey and Ian. He is a 1989 graduate of OCHS and is employed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff. Randy likes to hunt and fish, and considers the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles his favorite teams. He is also a big UVA fan.
