Michael has been a member of the OVFC since 1994, serving as a Junior for two years then moving into the Senior Company in November of 1996.  He holds a number of current certifications that include: EMT-B, Fire Instructor I,  NFA ICS, NIMS, STICO, and in a variety of HTR disciplines.

Michael has been employed by Verizon Business since 2000 and is currently the Manager of the Metro WDC Regional Engineering group in Tyson's Corner, VA.  He and his wife  Christy have two children, Courtney and Chadwick.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching UVA football, boating at Lake Anna, floating the Rapidan River, and traveling to the Outer Banks throughout the year.
