Mark Eskridge Firefighter
Mark became
a member of the Orange Volunteer fire Company in September, 2007. He
has previous experience in the fire service as a member of the
Centreville Vol. Fire Dept. in Northern Virginia from 1974-1981. Mark
is currently taking Firefighter I and is certified in VDFP Vehicle
Rescue, FEMA Debris Management, NFA Emergency Management, and several
NIMS courses.
Mark and his wife have four children, two grandchildren, and a dog.
Mark’s son James is a Junior Firefighter with OVFC. After working for
thirty years with the Arlington County Dept. of Environmental Services,
where he was an Emergency Operations supervisor, Mark retired and moved
to Orange. He is currently employed part-time with the ABC Store in
Orange.
