Jeff first joined the Orange Volunteer Fire Company in 1978 as a Junior Firefighter. He soon moved on to the Senior company, and was a Lieutenant for nine years. Jeff is known around the station as Peanut. He has been certified in: Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials-Awareness, EVOC, Basic Pump and Aerial Operations, Vehicle Extrication, and Landing Zone Coordinator.

Jeff and his wife Pam have one son, Jason, who is also a member of the fire company. Jeff has been employed by Preddy’s Funeral Home since 1997. He enjoys playing golf, hunting, and other sporting activities. Jeff is huge sports fan and roots for UVA, USC, the Redskins, Orioles, and Texas Rangers.
