In the final night of the Citizens Fire Academy, citizens took part in Forcible Entry, Vehicle Extrication, and Vehicle Fires. During the forcible entry portion, the citizens were taught of the many different techniques that could be used in order to gain entry into a structure. They were taught of the various tools that could be utilized to force entry and also got some hands on with forcing a door. The second portion of the night focused on vehicle extrication. The citizens were taught that stabilization of the vehicle is very important before any sort of extrication is to be done on vehicles. The citizens took part in learning the basics of stabilizing a vehicle and also used the various tools to perform extrication. The night was concluded with the citizens getting to take part in a live vehicle fire scenario. The citizens learned the proper techniques for attacking a vehicle fire.
