Features seating for 6, Command Zone electronics, TAK-4 IFS, SRP,
515hp Detroit Diesel engine, Waterous 1500 gpm pump, 650 gal. poly tank, 25 gal. Class A foam tank,
Husky 12 foam system, Harrison 20kW Hydra-Gen, Rud automatic tire chains, TFT Extenda-Gun,
Gortite Roll-up doors, a Federal Q2B and a Powercall DX5 siren with
LED lighting package and rear directional arrow. Primary
response vehicle to auto accidents and works in tandem with the
Truck on technical rescue assignments. The unit carries a
wide compliment of rescue tools/equipment and is a VDH certified Class A EMS non-transport

1986 Pierce Arrow with an open jump seat area. Features a 1500
gpm pump, 750 gal. water tank, retrofitted On-Spot tire chains, and
a variety of tools and appliances. 1st run pumper on
structural assignments as well as other incidents involving fire on

Brush 23
1990 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4
with utility body. It has a 350 gpm pump, 250 gal. tank, and
carries a full compliment of brush firefighting gear (rakes,
chainsaw, backpacks, forestry hose) as well as a pre-connected
attack line, pre-connected forestry line, and a booster reel.
This unit is a Class A non-transport EMS vehicle licensed by the VDH

Salvage 23
1984 Chevrolet/Baker ex-Dominion
Power utility vehicle. Carries extrication
equipment, cribbing, cascade system, numerous hand tools, and other
equipment necessary for extrication and suppression support.

Support 23
1988 Chevrolet 1500 4x4
pick-up. Used to transport personnel and equipment on an as
needed basis as well as for other non-suppression related functions.
In season, is used for brush fires as it has a removable pump and
tank and can carry hand tools in the bed area.

Antique Salvage
1931 Seagrave Salvage
and Rescue Squad. Was found and restored by a gentleman in
North Carolina then purchased and donated by Orange County resident
John Ellis in the mid 1990's. Click

HAZ-MAT
Trailer
16' Wells Cargo trailer
owned by Orange County and operated by the Orange Volunteer Fire
Company. Contains spill control items, decontamination shower,
numerous hand-tools, under-flow dam piping, lighting, and a Honda
3kW portable generator. The trailer is pulled by Salvage 23
and can be pulled by Brush 23 if necessary. Donated by
Dominion Power in 2003 and all installation/mounting work
was completed by Orange Volunteers.
