Squad 23

2007 Pierce Dash sold by Singer Associates, Gainesville, VA.  Features seating for 6, Command Zone electronics, TAK-4 IFS, SRP, 515hp Detroit Diesel engine, Waterous 1500 gpm pump, 650 gal. poly tank, 25 gal. Class A foam tank, Husky 12 foam system, Harrison 20kW Hydra-Gen, Rud automatic tire chains, TFT Extenda-Gun, Gortite Roll-up doors, a Federal Q2B and a Powercall DX5 siren with LED lighting package and rear directional arrow.  Primary response vehicle to auto accidents and works in tandem with the Truck on technical rescue assignments.  The unit carries a wide compliment of rescue tools/equipment and is a VDH certified Class A EMS non-transport vehicle.  Click HERE for a tour.

 

Engine 23

1994 Seagrave featuring seating for 6, 1250 gpm pump, 750 gal. tank, On-Spot tire chains, TFT Extenda-Gun, and numerous other options.  Primary response vehicle on structural assignments in our 1st due area.  Unit carries a variety of tools and is a VDH certified Class A EMS non-transport vehicle.  Click HERE for a tour.

Truck 23

2008 Pierce Velocity 105' RM sold by Singer Associates, Manassas, VA..  Features seating for 6, Command Zone electronics, TAK-4 IFS, SRP, 515hp Detroit Diesel engine, Hale 2000 gpm pump, 500 gal. poly tank, Husky 12 foam system, Harrison 10kW Hydra-Gen, Rud automatic tire chains, Gortite Roll-up doors, a Federal Q2B and a Powercall DX5 siren with LED lighting package.  Unit carries all truck company tools and runs all structural assignments and any incident involving technical rescue.  Click HERE for pictures of Truck 23.

 

Tanker 23

2000 Pierce Dash sold by Singer Associates, Gainesville, VA.  Features seating for 6, Command Zone electronics, 430hp Detroit Diesel, 1250 gpm pump, 1500 gal. poly tank, 20 gal. Class A foam tank, 40 gal. Brush 23

2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD W/T.  It has a 250 gpm pump, 150 gal. tank, 5 gal. foam tank, and carries a full compliment of brush firefighting gear (rakes, chainsaw, backpacks, forestry hose), as well as a pre-connected forestry line, and a booster reel.  Click HERE for more pictures of Brush 23.

 

Support 23

1990 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4 with utility body (Ex Brush 23).  This unit is a Class A non-transport EMS vehicle licensed by the VDH OEMS and also carries a variety of tools and incident support gear.  Click HERE for more pictures of Support 23.

 

Utility 23

1988 Chevrolet 1500 4x4 pick-up.  Used to transport personnel and equipment on an as needed basis as well as for other non-suppression related functions.  In season, is used for brush fires as it has a removable pump and tank and can carry hand tools in the bed area.  Donated by Dominion Power.  Click HERE for pictures of this unit.

 

Chief 23

2008 Chevrolet Tahoe LS.  Seating for 5 with a command box in the rear cargo area.  Driven by the Department Chief unless it is being used for other departmental functions.  Click HERE for more pictures of this unit.

 

Antique Salvage

1931 Seagrave Salvage and Rescue Squad.  Was found and restored by a gentleman in North Carolina then purchased and donated by Orange County resident John Ellis in the mid 1990's.  Click HERE for more pictures of this Antique unit.
